Alex Mortenson, a senior at TVHS, was recently named a Commended Student in the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program. Alex earned this recognition by scoring in the top 3% of the 1.6 million students who took the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Program (PSAT/NMSQT) qualifying exam in 2017. Congratuations Alex!

The parade starts on Lincoln St heading north, east on Garfield, south on Cleveland and the east on Washington into the HS parking lot. Hope to see you there!
The homecoming parade will start at Dooley Park @ 6:00PM (Thursday - Sept 13th.) Battle of the Bands immediately follows the parade in the HS commons. We will then have the pep rally in the gym at around 7:00.

HS Volleyball won the consolation championship Saturday at the Mahomet Invite defeating Urbana, Olympia, Williamsville, and Mattoon. GO VIKINGS!
